Born into a family of construction workers Joe spent his early teens on and around building sites, carrying tools and sweeping up to earn his pocket money.
After studying law at university and completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford Joe was offered a graduate role combining his two great passions, construction and contract law.
After progressing through the ranks at Structuretone and completing an MSc in Quantity Surveying Joe joined Knight Harwood where he spearheaded a commercial team that delivered projects in the One Hyde Park development and the Chiltern St Firehouse whilst also passing his APC to become a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Following this success Joe was headhunted by first of all ISG, Morgan Sindall and then BW as a contracts manager to head up a team that delivered over £50million of projects in the City of London and the West End working for consultants such as Knight Frank, Jones Lang La Salle and Cushman and Wakefield amongst others.
Inevitably the lure of returning to residential development with school friend Ben Fish proved too much and New Place came to realisation. Joe has a wealth of experience in construction contracts and a fantastic track record of delivering outstanding residential schemes that benefit all stakeholders and help to rejuvenate communities.
