Ben began working as a carpenter in 1999, qualifying in 2001 working on prestigious projects such as Le Gavroche, Michelle Roux Jr’s flagship restaurant and the Vidall Sassoon school of hair in Mayfair.
Following a successful stint working with several high-end developers in Chelsea, Kensington and Fulham, Ben made a successful transition into main contracting for high net worth private clients in Surrey.
Bespoke specialist fitted joinery specific projects soon made way for heavy refurbishment of large detached properties in leafy Surrey, focussing on the ‘stockbroker belt’ of Esher, Cobham and Ashtead where Ben designed, managed and constructed over £2milion of projects in a 3 year period.
Inevitably, Ben was headhunted by a Central London based company to spearhead their move into developments in the increasingly popular areas of Islington and South East London. The successful delivery of major development schemes kept Ben busy from 2014 until late 2017 when he joined up with long term friend and business associate Joe Garner to start New Place.
Ben brings with him a wealth of construction knowledge, an eye for perfect delivery and a quest to constantly exceed Client expectations.
